I have a 2001 pt cruiser that my daughter ran hot ( the fan didn't come on) , since then the car has been in limp mode.
I have replaced the input and output sensors and no improvement. It is showing code 1698. Has any one had this problem and if so should I replace the TCM. The fan is now working, but, it won't come out of limp mode. I went to autozone to clear the codes and they can't clear them. The car runs great - just won't shift out of 2nd. |
