Hey I've been checking this forum ever since back in June when I first got my cruiser which is a car I've wanted ever since they first came out with it. I was lucky enough to catch a liquidation sale at a dealer where they were asking blue book value for a 2006 Touring Edition that only had 36,000 miles on it. Turns out it wasn't even a lease vehicle but a Cruiser that a dealership in Pennsylvania used as a company car. So needless to say I quickly took advantage of this offer with the small amount of good credit I had.
Here's a link to some photos of what I've done so far which is just very basic, cheap modifications to personalize it. The Bat Cruiser pictures by isaaklown - Photobucket What I would love to do with it since I call it "The Bat Cruiser" (big comic fan, what can I say) is to get it to where it looks like one of the older batmobile's from the comics inside and out but with little signs that the Joker had been around (at one time I had found a vinyl to go in the back window that was the Joker font from the Dark Knight that said "Why So Serious?" Any ideas or help would be appreciated. I am a ba-roke guy trying to make ends meet, make the payments on the loan but still improve the look and performance of the Cruiser. |

Welcome
I have a vinyl graphic on my rear hatch that has looked great for 4 years and only cost $45. I got it from StreamlineDesign - I think its Rick Davis - he's great. I told him what I had in mind via email - he emailed back some ideas, I picked one and that was it. StreamlineDesign - Get Graphic With Us!

Thanks guys. Yea it was a Kia Suzuki dealership that somehow ended up with this car, but hey... I got me a cruiser and that's all I was asking for.
I really have no experience of really caring and upgrading vehicles so I'm doing this fresh... my last vehicle was a Dodge Caravan hand me down from my Mom when I started college. It got me from point A to point B which is all I wanted at the time. As much as I want to turn the cruiser into a batmobile I want to keep it looking classy and professional. Hardest part of it all is that any good modifications I would want to make for it would require probably several months of saving to get one thing done. Such is life... |

I have a outline of the original Batman logo mounted on my rear window at the top where the brake light is. When you step on the brakes you see the outline. Batman has always been my fav comic book hero. Welcome to the forum...

Also I'm looking at doing some interior modifications first like seat covers and some different things to the console, buttons, etc. I looked at some of the color covers on ptboutique for the different knobs, and I've seen some dash kits that I've been thinking of getting in a dark color, like a carbon fiber.. any other ideas along these lines? |

I LOVE those seats, would love to get them with white instead of the yellow and the Batman Begins logo... but I'm afraid of how much that would cost... lol
And that last one, although awesome is not something I could get and pass inspection in West Virginia... with my last vehicle I use to have a vinyl work in the middle of the window that was nothing but very small lines so completely see through... everyone passed it for years, then a garage didn't let it slide.. oh well the vinyl was getting old anyway. |
