Both being loaded--- other than color and Turbo are there any substantial difference in owning a GT Dream over a Limited that I may be missing on somebody that has owned both( year 2003) thanks MJB

Mainly its the increase in horsepower. My '02 Limited is kinda slow. Drove a couple of GT's and would much rather have the GT than the Limited.

Hey their mjb,

You are referring to the 03 Tangerine Dream Cruiser Series 2 right? Should look something like this maybe, right?

Ok, now please correct me if I am wrong on these

The Dream is one of the more rare an popular Cruisers to be produced by Chrysler. Some of the cooler features I recall from my research on this subject should include:

The 3 stage custom mixed Tangerine Pearl Paint scheme with matching two tone leather Orange and Slate Interior (front seats 2 way heated).

The Chrome Door Spears including a 2 way power moonroof, Foglights, traction control, and the list goes on, and on.

All Options available for 2003.

Not just Turbo, but the High Output "HO" Turbo which I believe may have been first in the line for this motor, and also sports a wider unique lower front fascia to allow more air flow to the Inter cooler.

Mine came with the Auto Stick which even though slightly slower compared to the manual, still will no doubt get up and go without much of any problem.

Believe it was the also the first in line for the stock 17" chrome wheel package with Orange matching Center Caps

Stock Audio came with 6 speakers, and a 6 disk in dash Head Unit which is pre-wired and ready for Serious Satellite of which I believe if you buy a Dream Cruiser, you can contact Serious and receive one full year of service for free.

And if I also remember right, but don't quote me on for sure, the Dream came with a more aggressive suspension, and exhaust.

And last but not least, the 03 was the last year where they not only did the unique rear tailgate badging, but also did a special serial numbered plaque on the center dash just under the power window switches on the switch plate itself.

I do know the 03 Dream Cruiser tends to get a lot of attention, questions, and compliments due in large part to its color scheme.

It is also known that when the color scheme was first introduced, Dealerships were very much afraid that the color would be too much for Consumers, and instead chose not to stock the vehicle thus forcing Chrysler to heavily cut production of the original estimates, therefore making this PT more rare.

That is about all I can think of on the Dream at the moment. If by any chance you might be able to get me the serial number off the dash, current location "City, State", and if its got any damage, quirks, overall condition, I would big time appreciate it! I have been trying to track and collect as much information as possible on as many 03 Dream Cruisers as I can to maintain a small registry.

Here is baby.

Anyways, go easy, and please let me know how you make out.

Keep in mind that the GT with the HO engine requires premium fuel. My Turbo-lite has better acceleration, than standard, on 87 octane. I've tried a few tanks of premium with no noticeable difference.

I think the biggest difference for you would be what you want the car for and how you plan to drive it.

The Dream (and all GTs) also came with 4-wheel anti-lock brakes with fatter front disks. I believe ABS was optional on Limited, and if you did get it, not sure it had the fatter front disks.
