I think I'll try a set.

What does a set of wiper blades cost?

Auto zone had them for 20$ each. I got a set. figure with shipping back of the rebate I get 14$ off. They do look nice. I needed a set any way. Normal blades are under 10$.

Thanks rspiegel, I just put Rain X blades on my Toyota and I need a set for the Cruiser, so I guess I'll try the Bosch wiper blades.

For all those that bought and mailed in their rebate - I just got a card saying, "...we could not honor...due to...in-store discount...at the retailer." The store I bought them from had lowered their price to match another store, so it showed a $2 per blade discount. I called BOSCH (1-888-715-3616) and was called back saying they'd received a lot of calls about this - would forward on to the center that handles their rebates and see what they can do.

I like the blades; but I bought them to try for the rebate - if they don't come through, I'll buy something else next time.

You got to love these rebate scams! They offer a good deal, but half the time you never get them (I think they say say 8 - 10 weeks in the hopes that you will forget about it) or they make some stupid excuse for not paying out. You didn't pay full price, you bought it at Costco/Sams Club/etc or it doesn't count if you buy it on a Tuesday after 3pm!!

I saw this rebate and was all set to buy untill I saw US Only

And the other fact about mail-in rebates is that your name & address now get sold on lists as having bought a particular product so you get more junk mail...

Bosch Icons are totally worth the full price! I have them on my Cruiser, Jetta and my Caravan! Completely ice prioof no holes to fill up with water/snow and freeze. Very long lasting. I highly recommend these to anyone. They do not make a specific one to fit the rear of the Cruiser but there is one that will fit fine.

I am well over 3 years on "Silblades" on both Cruisers.
Still working great! Look great in colors!
(5-year warranty. I was only hoping for 3.)
