I have a 2007 PT Cruiser and would like to remove the passenger seat. I was hoping it would be like my old VW and the seat would just slide forward off the tracks, but that doesn't work. I don't need to remove it clear to the floor. Any suggestions?

Like forever, or just temporary? The forever mode requires a saws-all and a sledge hammer, otherwise you have to unbolt it. American made cars generally will not let you slide them forward off the rails, I know mine are electric and you can't get them off that way....
