![]() Needless to say, the Ford won. My dad backed into my car on his way out to work. Was an accident. What can seven feet and the rear bumper of a Ranger do? $1700 in mechanical repairs and $2700 in body work. My car's KBB value is around $3500. Ouch. Technically totalled. But my dad's insurance is covering it and I get a 2010 Chevy Malibu rental and a new bumper out of it. Can't wait to get rid of this Chevy and get my baby back! Side note: Is this win? Yep, and the A/C compressor, too. Got that fixed and it's in the body shop now. I know this body shop, lots of my buddies have used them. They're fantastic. Can't wait to get her back, she'll look better than the day I got her. I was wanting to get the front bumper painted anyways.
