Hi everyone,
My 2007 PT runs pretty well. But my air conditioning is not cold. I let a technician saw the car. The diagnosis is a leaking of freon from the A/C system. I replaced the freon, but it run out again in three months. The freon replacing cost me 80 bucks. Can I but some kind of small can freon and do it by myself? How much may it cost if I have the A/C system repaired? Thanks. |

Thank you! That helps a lot. I will find a A/C shop to have my car inspected after the holiday. I am in New Orleans. Does anyone happen to know a good A/C shop?

$40 for the anti-freeze-coolant is waaay too expensive. You can buy a gallon of it at a Chrysler dealer for less than $30, dilute it 50% with distilled water, and do it yourself. You can download a service manual here: http://www.ptcruiserlinks.com/forum/...01-2007-a.html It will tell you what you need to know. Not difficult, but you need to find the bleed valve under the radiator cap and bleed the system.
