My daughter has a 2003 pt cruiser i noticed today that the trunk will not stay open without holding it up.What are the two things called that look like little shocks that need replaced on the back of the trunk door?thanks for any help with this

Before you buy both, you may only need one. Disconnect one at a time to see if you can see which one has lost its pressure.
Be careful, that lift gate with no struts holding it up is quite heavy. If either has oil on it, that is a tell tail sign. You can get replacements at any auto parts store. |
