Default Windows and dash

I have a 2002 touring, and I need help.
I have got the window switch pried off, but how do I disconnect the wires to replace the switch? I'm sure it's something to do with the red toggle thing, but can't figure it out.
Also, the dash has cracked from the defrost vent to the windshield on the right and halfway to the steering column to the left with the vent grill demolished. Any info on how to fix that would be appreciated

I believe you pull up on the red clip. The harness fits kinda tight so you'll have to wiggle it a little to get it off once you release the clip.

Best thing to do with the dash is to replace it. May be able to find a dash at a salvage (junk) yard. You'll need to remove the center dash cover (the screw behind the window switch), the A pillars and a few other screws. Then pull the dash forward and it will slide right off.
