Default 03 pt Cruiser Wheel bearings?

Recently our PT has started making a grinding noise at the right front tire area. It subsides when we turn left but when straight it really whines. It gets worse the faster we go and so far looking on the net it sounds like it would be the wheel bearings. Most places recommend taking it to a shop, but i found a few who attempted DIY. Some say that the least expensive way is to pull the hub and have a repair shop press in the new bearings. So my question is, should i do that or simply buy the whole hub assembly (70 bucks at Autozone) and replace it?

Still has to be pressed out of the knuckle, so your choice new bearing and hub or just new bearing.

Here are some pics in this thread

I'd buy the hole hub. Even if you find a shop to press it apart for a decent price, they may find problems when they press it apart.
If you buy the new one, you can get the old one fixed and have it ready on the shelf. That will pretty much guarentee that you will never need it

I've been looking at that page with the tutorial and i just want to make sure i've got everything right. So i don't have to pay the 80 bucks for the puller kit? i can use vice clamps and i may need a pin tap set and wrenches and such? Also, my local store shows these bearings; which should i purchase?

And this is the hub

Will i need to buy anything else? One of the repair manuals and autozone said something about getting a new seal, spray brake cleaner to remove old grease, and new grease to lubricate. Thanks for advice.
