New PT Guy here with lighting problems

Hello all, the other night my dashboard lights went out.. I went online and found out that it mightbe because my tailights are out....I checked and the tail lights were out but the brake lights still worked.. I replaced both bulbs, but the taill lights still are not working...any suggestions??

What year is your car? It does make a difference. 2001-05 have different electrics than the newer models.

Duh sorry for not being complete with the info it is a 2005 PT Convertible...

You should have a fuse box by your left knee when sitting in the driver seat. Cheeck fuses #2 and #10. Also a box of fuses and relays in the Power Distribution center under the air filter in the engine compartment. Check the number #17 fuse in there.

Oh I am not going anywhere!!! It was the number 2 fuse I swapped it out with the heated seats fuse...I dont have heated seats...so I just switched them....

OK, great. If someone else has the same problem we like to know how to fix it and pass on the information.

Thanks again...I find it strange I had a fuse for heated seats, when the seats arent heated...weird....now anyone know where I can find a good price on a passenger side tail light assembly....
