I found a Mopar accessory kit for reverse parking sensors! The list is $257, but my cost being a dealer employee is right around $200. I think I'm going to order it, but was wondering if anybody else has the kit?

Mine is called, 'rear-view-mirrors'. I know some have complained about the blind-spot's with the rear pillar; but you get used to and adjust to it. Not sure I see a $200 benefit to rear-beepers.
You can buy a back-up camera for $50 - I'd think that would be more affective if you need such.

Looking at info I found, this looks to be an ultra-sonic sensor. It uses four sensors and requires drilling holes in the bumper to install. I for one would not want to drill holes in my Cruisers bumper.

Well that's not the half of it, you also have to drill a couple holes in the interior panels to mount the speaker.
I'm not worried about that, as I work for the dealer and it's a Mopar accessory so I'm not voiding any warranties. I'm going to have one of the body shop techs help me install. When your work every day entails backing up vehicles in very tight quarters, some with sensors, some without, you can really appreciate what the sensors have to offer. I guess the sensors to me are like aftermarket wheels to some. I couldn't justify laying down $600 on wheels when there's nothing wrong with the ones I have!

Bought this AutoPage BPS-4 from this site Backup and Parking Sensors | Car Security & Safety | Car Security & Auto Accessories at Sonic Electronix
Had a local body shop drill the wholes they didnt even charge me. Works well the woman hasnt hit anything yet. Only complaint is they dont mount flush. They stick out about a 1/8-1/4 inch you could probably mount them flusher but i wasnt to worried about it. |
