Question Is an HID conversion kit worth it?

I've had my PT for 4yrs now, and I really hate my headlights, I've tried changing the bulbs to brighter ones, having the headlight polished so there clear again and I still find myself checking to see if they are even turned on at night. I have found different options/opinions about the HID conversion kits. Is it legal to change non-HID's to HID? Or does it depend on the brightness of the HID's you buy. I live in TX and I've had some friends pulled over previously for having HID's that were too bright and the police said they were supposed to be used in off-road use only. Are the kits not worth it?

Any advice would be helpful (positive advice that is.)

Thanks!

Hello my friend! I did the HID conversion on my PT and I love it! You can see some pict. on my profile. Also I change the fog lights to LED's so they can match the HID and they look great! It all depends on what time of HID you get that will get you in trouble. Mines are 10000k! Let me know if you want any other info. Take care!

HID's done properly are only put in projector housings. Reflective housing are what makes them blinding
