Default Oil Sender problem...............

Hi I'm Bobby. We just got a 2003 PT Cruiser Base model. Well it seems to run pretty well, but after the motor is warm, every time you decelerate the oil light comes on and "dings". Ok, so I checked the oil. The level was fine. The viscosity was fine, too. There is no knocking, no pinging, and the temp is fine. Are these things known for bad oil senders, or it this a real problem?

Thank you. Is this an active forum, or is it kind of slow?

It's active for a forum that's dedicated to one little car. The best way to get answers fast is with the search function on the top of page in the blue bar, because chances are it's been said already and you can find it and read it.

....and if you know of a more active PT Cruiser forum I'd like to know about it.
