Default I now know how to change a PT tire.

Well, I'm off to find an Eagle LS tire to replace the one that blew out at 70 mph last night on I85.

I can now lower the spare, jack the car and use my Garmin to locate several closed for the day tire stores.

At least the wheel looks ok. The tire is toast.

It happens to us all at one time or another. Glad there were no serious consequences.

Hope you get the Sleigh back on the road soon!

This thread just reminded me that I never checked the tools or spare when I bought The Sequel. Better have a look see real soon. Thanks for the reminder!

Glad you came through that blowout ok, you haven't lived till you get a blow out on the Throgs neck bridge in NY rush hour.

Thanks for all the kind words. I ended up with 2 Eagle LS's because the ones on there were OEM with about 20K on them. I now have a spare LS.

I had just started a trip to Charlotte (90 mi) and postponed it for a day because I didn't want to spend part of my Saturday looking for tires in a strange city and I did not want to drive 90+ miles on a donut spare.

So my local Chrysler Dealer had them in stock and they gave me a reasonable price and a free car wash to boot.

No matter what you think of dealerships it pays to have a good relationship with your local dealer's service department.

They know better than not giving a Santa a good deal
