The center dash bevel around the radio pops out on my 2005 PT Cruiser Touring Edition.. But there are little clips that hold it on so be careful

You'll have to a little more pacific about which parts you want to take apart. The "dash" could be the center piece where the radio is (looks like you already replaced the radio) or you could mean the passenger air bag cover and guage surround or even the upper piece that covers everything that's against the windshield.

True, and if I'm not mistaken the top dash, does come off with clips as well.. But to get that off you MUST remove the center bevel around the radio.. Someone correct me if i'm wrong

OK, this will help you get some of the things apart.

PT Dash Lamp Replacement

The center dash with the radio: Very gently pry out the square that holds the window switches. When that out disconnect the 2 electrical connections to the switches. Look inside and you see one Phillips head screw. That's the only screw that holds the whole surround in. Take off the 4 knobs to the HVAC system (A/C). Now go all around the outside of the center dash and gently pry it all off.

The door panel has a few screws in it and I think six clips around the edge that hold it on. Gently go around the outside and pry the whole panel off.

Do you want to paint the floor console? little tricky but can be done. I painted mine Pewter to match the front sections. Driver seat all the way back. Emergency brake all the way up. Rear window switch out. About 4 screws (2 front 2 back) come out. Start with the rear and lift it all the way up and over the emergency brake handle. If you have a from 12V outlet in the console that's the hardest part to get apart. I forget how I did it.

It would appear that he already knows how to remove center dash cause he has replaced the radio. The center console can be pulled by removing the screws in the drink pockets and the door panels are held on by visable screws and pressure clips. After pulling the panel loose be careful when detatching the inner door handle rod. You must first turn the clip to release the rod end.

Just take your time and you'll be surprised how well it can turn out. Here's a couple of pics of my change. It was the "light taupe" when I bought it. There was "0" green or black anywhere.
