hi all,
can anyone give me a few suggestions on the best way to lift my cruiser about four to six inches. here most of the roads are dirt roads and with the rain it starts bottoming out, so i would like to find a cheap and resonably atractive way to lift her a bit. bearing in mind that there are not auto stores to just down the road. |

Thanks guys i realize i am going against the grain by lifting it. if the roads allowed it i would with out a doubt be lowering it
i was checking out the thread some awsome four wheel drives but i just want to lift mine enough to get over the stones and mud that builds up on the so called roads down here. i always new it wasnt the best country to buy a cruiser but i couldnt resist, have since heard that another has been spotted in an auto lot in the city, who it could take of down here soon. LOL. |

Hey their
Here is a Link to some more lifted PT's for ya. Custom PT Cruiser 4x4 As for doing a lift on your PT, I am not sure what springs might be compatible diameter wise to fit. I would almost think it would probably be better to just strip the suspension out completely and just fabricate everything new if you have the ability to do so. I have a buddy of mine who builds, and designs suspension systems for baja trophy trucks, including fabricating custom one off coil springs if need be. I can shoot him over an email and see what his thoughts might be on overall cost, and how difficulty to try n fab something up for 4" - 6" of lift for ya. The rear probably wouldn't be all that really complicated, but the front is going to almost all have to be completely one off custom, and I recon most likely also be pretty expensive to pull off. Just my gut feeling, but I will check it out, and get back to you on it. Anyways, go easy, and I'll catch ya later. Candyman
