Default Front wheels

I found something strange while cleaning the PT yesterday. The front wheels are not centered the same in the wheel wells. On one side the wheel is about 1 inch closer to the front than the other side, and the rear distance between the two are also off about an inch. All the gaps between the fender and doors and fenders and bumper appear all even.Is this just how they are made or do I have something wrong.I have made sure the tires are exactly straight and they are still off.

Are you the original owner? Maybe it has had front end damage repaired?

Hey their o8bluept,

Yep, that would be my best bet would be that possibly the wheel, or the front end on that side had had some repair work at some point and time. Their are now a couple of different Companies making replacement knock off GT Wheels which can be a good cheaper option if someone might accidentally tag a curb a little hard or something. This is the first I have heard of a spacement issue, but not totally surprised either.

That would be my thought anyway.

Go easy, and I'll catch ya later.

These are just the steel rims with hubcaps, which have the same size tire on both sides.
