Default A/C switching noise (clicking)… ?

I have a “Clicking” noise at my wife 2007 PT when you turn on A/C every few second, I can hear Click, Click and in the second one you can feel A/C compressor goes ON. There is an annoying clicking noise every few seconds.
What is that?

1- Bad A/C Clutch Cycling Switch? Part # MT1191
2- Low on refrigerant in the system?

How can avoid this annoying Clicking Noise?

Thanks,

Sounds like the compressor clicking ON and then OFF. The main cause of that is because your low on R134a.

Yes it's normal to hear the compressor clicking on and off. I don't like the kits if you don't have a set of high and low pressure guages to go with it.

Thanks Crewzin

When I checked the lower level was 25 PSI so I added freon to the system thru the rigth-top service connection until 50 PSI and now the Click noise came out when A/C compressor start and the temperature inside is freezing.
