PT Cruiser (non Turbo) 5 speed.
I have been having stalling problems for about 2 months. The time gap between them has shrunk from 1 a day to one every 15 minutes. Problem: while driving the RPM needle goes to 0, in an interval of probably less than a second the gas needle and then the temp needle, and then the little red light in the center of the gauge where the gas and the temp are, comes on. I can not start the car right a way, but if I wait few minutes, I can start it back up again. I checked the codes this morning and these are the codes the cluster is giving me in their order: U0155, U110C, P0335, P0038, P0032. Can some please shed some light here, I just don’t want to go blindly to the dealer, get charged and then having the same issue again, because they change something they thought was the problem but in reality wasn’t. I will really appreciate your help!!! |

Welcome to the forum.
U110C No Fuel Level Bus Message U0155 No Cluster Bus Message. P0335 Crankcase Position sensor a circuit performance P0032 HO2S Heater Circuit High Voltage Bank 1 Sensor 1 P0038 HO2S Heater Circuit High Voltage Bank 1 Sensor 2 A very odd array of codes you have there. A couple of the answers I've found say that a dealer scanner can more thoroughly diagnose your problem. Oh, and that red dot in the middle of the guages is the security light.

Thank you crewzin!!! do you know where the Crankcase Position sensor is located!! I read last night in one of the threads that the wires were rubbing against something and that was causing the problem...

On mine (2001) it's right above the oil filter but I think I read someplace that they moved it on later models.
Yes, they changed the position, read this..... Crankshaft Position Sensor location 04 PT Cruiser - FixYa

Hello after a long time chasing this problem, and spending a lots of money changing, cam shaft sensor, crankshaft sensor, both oxygen sensors, cleaning completely the throttle body. I decided to change the PCM Power Control Module. I ordered from Auto Computer Exchange | Engine & Transmission Control Units for $180.00. and that did solve the issue. Thanks God because you enlightened
a long the way.
