Will the PT Continue into 2011????
 I spoke to Chrysler today & the rep said its not definite the PT is being discontinued because they sell? HUH? What?? Is he for real?? Anyone know for sure? MJB

Not according to the information at the dealer I work for. 2010 is the last year, and production for the Fiat 500 will move into the plant where the PTs were produced.
I question the knowledge of the person you spoke with. Sales for the PT have been dropping, which is the reason they talked about cutting it in the first place.

It has been a good 10 year run. Other than the Daytona, I cant think of any other mopar nameplate that ran 10 years with the same basic shape.
Look on the bright side, there are plenty of used ones and parts should not be a problem since the junk yards will be full of them for the next 10-15 years as they age out. Also who knows, they are bringing the Durango back afte r3 year absence on the new Jeep Grand Cherokee platform so maybe they can redesign something in Toluca for another PT in a few years.
