ok so a dealer will sell me a 05 pt convertable turbo lite with 35,000 miles for 8,000 grand is this worth it, how realible is this car. What u think.

Miles are nice and low, about 1/2 of average. Give it a good test drive and listen for the typical suspension clunking. Check the KBB price on it, but it sounds like a good price to me, especially for an 05 convertible. 1st year for the drop top, and last year before the facelift

Have a mechanic go over it, but price is good for 'vert with low miles.
As soon as you get it, put synthetic oil in it, and new ignition wires and plugs.

Listen to Don bring it to a Chrysler dealer (if this isnt one) and have a mechanic check it, if it is a Chrysler dealer bring it to another or a mechanic you trust.

Too many new posts lately from people buying used PT's who after the fact find out all kinds of issues.

If you dont get good vibes keep on looking.

Check the car fax and get the VIN and go to a Mopar dealer and ask politely of a service manager if they can run the VIN in their system and give you a print out of what comes out. Tell them you will bring it in for service if you buy it.
