Smile PT '02 - Maximum Trunk/Boot Space dimension

Hi folks,

I am trying to workout whether an '02 PT Cruiser is going to take a 2-seater sofa/couch (1800mm wide x 1100mm tall x 1000mm front to back) and wondered whether anybody had ever measured the maximum boot space with the seats either down or out?

I would be over the moon if anybody even knew where I might find a drawing/image on the interwebs that has this information or the dimensions but if anybody had already measured this or wanted to then that would be amazing!

Look forward to any help that anybody can offer !

**edit** I should add: I found a capacity in a volume measurement but my sofa is not/will not bend or fold >.<

I did some fast measuring and from what I came up with, NO it won't fit.

Your width is 1800mm, approx 70.8 inches. The most from back of seats to rear hatch is approx 60 inches.

Tall is 1100mm, approx 43.3 inches. Opening of tailgate is 38 inches.

1000mm front to back, approx 39 inches, width of opening is approx is about 38 inches.

It does hold 8 foot 2x4's though... just make sure you put something on the end so it doesn't scratch the dash when you slam on the brakes..lol and you can pile alot with the seats out or in for that matter...
