Default Flames on Pt Cruiser....

Iam getting a 08 Pt Cruiser tomorrow its my first. I have always loved the flames but cant afford right now for a paint job. Is there any decals that look good? Also its the brilliant black pearl color, any suggestions what colors would look good on it??

If they still do it, this site used to be able to set up a picture of a PT, change the outside color and then places all kinds of flames on it so you can see what they look like.

No. Mine are painted but there are people on this forum who have bought from Streamline and are happy with them. By the way,
I found another site that has plenty of choices of different kind of decals for the PT.

This is our first 2001 PT just as we got it in early 2003. The flames are decals.

After a deer collision in 2006 they had to be replaced but the original style was discontinued.

After repairs these are the flame decals we settled on. I didn't like them quite as well as the originals but the quality was fine.

Unfortunately this car was T boned and totaled in September 2008.

Those look really good. Did you have someone put them on for you or do them yourself?

Street Dynamics in Paris Tennessee did the first set. The second set was purchased from them but installed by the body shop that repaired the deer crash damage. The guy at street dynamics said his secret is letting them season about 3 weeks and then appplying 3 coats of good Carnuba wax. "Waxing them in" he called it.

I only paid $350.00 for hand painted/spraypainted flames on my wife's 2003 PT. I'd show you, but I don't know how to put pics on here.

There was no clear-coat sprayed over, however; but I keep the car waxed regularly, and three years have passed and the flames are still quite warm to the touch.

As far as decals go, I've never found any that the sun won't deteriorate in a less than two years in Redding, California's hot summers. By the way, if you've ever tried to get worn decals off your car finish without leaving a mess, then you have magical powers that I'd like to know about.

I realize I am about 5 years late on this issue. Just joined forum yesterday.
What color is the graphics kit on the PT?m is it white or silver?mi can't tell.
My 01 LE Cruiser is the same color. I am looking for color help with adding flames. Any suggestions. I like the color look of yours. Thanks.
