04 cruiser won't start!! HELP PLEASE!!

ok here's my situation.

04 Cruiser that won't start. Here's what I have done. Replaced the battery, had the started checked and it was fine. Replaced the ground cable going to the battery. Replaced the ingnition starter switch on the steering column. Car still won't start. I have tried jump starting it from the starter. The starter will turn over, but still won't start. I ahve checked all the fuses and switch the relays around, still won't start. Is there anything else I can do before I take it to the dealer? I'm really trying to do this on my own, but its looking like the dealer the going to get my business and my money. Any suggestions would be greatly appreicated.

Is their any fault codes on the computer and how many miles on it?

117K and no codes. when I switch the car on, everything comes on normal, but when i turn the key, it just clunks, starter won't turn over.

OK, one last question. Did you have the timing belt changed yet?

yes about 6 months ago, had a burnt valve, so had the heads done over along with timing belt and water pump.

Can't tell by your posts if the engine is turning over and won't start or it won't even turn over. If it is, you have tow things to look for: spark and fuel. Have you checked the No#13 fuse in the PDC (fuse box) in the engine compartment? It's the fuse for the fuel pump. The other (spark) might be a bad coil, not sending spark to the plugs but I think you should have gotten a fault code for that.

When I turn the key, the engine is not turning over, but when i jump start it from the starter, the engine will turn over. I have check all the fuses inside and outside.

OK, so the ignition starter was replaced, starter checked. Starter turns over when directly jumped but not when you use the ignition. Sounds like the starter solenoid has gone out or a bad connection to the solenoid from the ignition or battery. Some say you can't buy the solenoid by itself and a whole starter/solenoid has to be bought but then other say it can be bought separate. I can't say which.

On another thread where BeagleDad had a broken green wire that he didn't know where it went and the car wouldn't start, I found out it was broken off the solenoid. It should have a large green and a large red wire going to the end bold on the solenoid.

The green wire is there. I guess I will check tomorrow to see if I can get the solenoid separately. I really appreciate your help. Will let you know tomorrow if changing the solenoid works.
