Sirius and XM have merged so they're pretty much one and the same.
If you have a newer model that came with satellite radio, you'll have to go with Sirius unless you want to get an XM reciever.

Thanks for the responses. I have the ready for Sirius stock radio, but I am having trouble getting the 12-digit ESN. The owner's manual says hold the "Eject
CD and Time simaltaniously, but all I am getting is a 4 digit #. Anyone know the trick for getting the correct ESN #? Thanks, Matt |

Most people dont know this but call to cancel your account and they transfer you to the retion dept. once there you can cut some nice deals.....like $20 something for 6 months. Then on the 5th. month call back again to cancel and you can get the same deal again

Dont know but i had sirus since it was first available and only paid 1 month of sevice. Never paid full price other than 1 month when i started.
Are you saying you paid $12.95 for a full year of service or your paying $12.95 per month for a year?

Last December I bought a Ford Ranger with Sirius pre-installed. I usually only drive it to work (about 11 miles, one way), and run errands on my days off. So I really don't spend all that much time in the car. When the Sirius free-period ran its course, I let it go, for the reason stated above. But if you spend a lot of time in your car, I'd opt for Sirius. It had something for everyone.
Since I cancelled, though, I've been thinking about finding some of my old CD's, and going to the trouble of sticking them into the CD slot above the truck's radio. I've just never gotten around to it, though. Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, The Beatles, The Stones, James Taylor, Garth, Stevie Nicks, Linda Ronstadt, The Eagles ... and my favorites: Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young--all these greats still sit somewhere on a bookcase in my living room, while I drive to work, singing in my head, something by Stephen Foster ....
