Well first of all I have been away for the past 2 weeks vacationing in Canada and the USA.....I regret to say I have put the PT up for sale
![]() ![]() ...However I am proud and happy to say I purchased a new baby today![]() ![]() ...A 2007 Mustang GT vert 5speed. I have always wanted a convertible, and a modern muscle car...and today i purchased it and brought it home and started the detailing. It only has 16000km on it. All original. Alloy/grey in colour with black leather interior. Fully optioned. One original owner.I luv it.....I will frequent the site....but I will probably have to join a Mustang forum now. I truly enjoyed this site for the past 3 years and wish to thank you all for your help and your friendship.....Phil

Nice choice - been eying those myself. Already have a Miata for 'top-less' fun.
Have been disappointed in the Cruiser, not sure what I want yet.

OMG! That Mustang name has been floating around in my mind lately. I'm trying to talk myself out of it by reminding myself that I still have occasion to haul more stuff than a Mustang could carry--but it's tempting me. Hope you enjoy your new car. Assuming that you traded in the PT, somebody in Alberta's going to be getting one fine used car.
Nice to have "met" you and read your posts. |

Well Phil, I've owned 2 S'tangs both ragtops. When the PT came out in 2001 I really wanted one but was unwilling to part with my vert. When the PT 'vert came out in 2005 I thought, quite frankly, they were ugly. I guess they grew on me cause I love mine now!
I had an '88 GT that I ordered new and a '96 V6 that I bought used. I loved them both but I see Mustang 'verts everywhere in our area and not many PT 'verts. But the overwhelming choice was the style and the usable back seat. I need the seat all the way back to clear my ample Santa belly and I have 2 teenage foster kids at home. In the S'tang the driver's seat was all the way against the back seat. In the PT I can seat 4. Enjoy your new baby. It shore is purdy as we say in the south. Well nobody actually says that but you northerners think we do.

Hey Phil, if I bought your PT I could get all my old parts back.
I don't have a PT anymore but still come by this site 3-4 times a week to see whats happening. Enjoy the new ride.

Well I know this isn't a Mustang forum but thanx for all the replies ....I detailed the Mustang from top to bottom today and took it out on the highway and the freeway with a neighbor and a friend. I sure am proud of it. Quite frankly i am just getting used to it. Those 300 horses and that loud exhaust quite frankly can be a bit scary.....its alot different than the PT. It certainly fast.................I can't imagine why anyone would need even more power like the 500 horse shelby. Anyway I'll keep in touch...I have joined a Mustang forum already.
