Default 2009 Touring Horn

We have had the 09 for about 6 weeks now and haven't had an occasion to use the horn. Last night my wife came home from the grocery store and honked the horn for me to come and open the garage door for her. What a pathetic sound. Reminded me of a horn on one of those Shriner's clown cars. I assume that's another cost cutting measure. My old 02 had a full fledged horn not a wimpy noise maker. Has anyone swapped their's out for a real horn? My motorcycle has a better horn than this.

Cost cutting in progress. We only have one horn and the earlier ones had two. I don't remember if it is the low or high tone, but some have added the one needed.

Hooligan do you know if the wiring harness is equipped for a second horn? I have been doing some research but getting conflicting stories. I plan to buy another horn and it would be nice not to have to splice in new wiring.

I really don't know, I haven't done much under the hood on this 2008, so I don't know. It would all depend on IF Toluca had a lot of extra wiring harnesses left over. The 2006 I had still had a hookup even tho I never added another horn. For the first 6 months or so the horn would not blow unless you hit the horn button in its "sweet spot". Finally the dealer was able to correct that problem, n/c to me.
