Default Condensation inside car windows

Hi all,

Well, I finally got the car back from the dealer, new clutch installed and it shifts like a dream! But of course, just when I thought everything was fine, I get out on the road this morning and condensation starts forming on the inside of all four passenger windows. (Temp was in the mid-40's.) I opened the driver's side window a little bit and the condensation gradually went away.

What would cause this to happen? I've never had it happen in any of my other cars. Obviously this is cause for concern as far as my suspicion this car is a lemon. If it indicates something serious, I have to really decide whether I want to get rid of this car.

Thanks to anyone who can answer this!

Just adjust your HVAC control so it's pointed to the front windows (Defrost) and have the directed air coming from the interior (Recirculate). That will clear the front windows in less than a minute. The fan speed is up to you but the higher the speed the faster it will clear the windshield.

Did you car come with an owners manual?

Well, excuse me, I was just asking a question. What I thought was weird was that there was NO condensation on the front or back windshields, only on the passenger windows. I do know how to run the defrost, but the windshield wasn't the problem.

The defrost mode also turns on the compressor which drys out the air and besides blowing on the windshield it also blows air towards both drivers and passenger windows. Sorry if you took that as sarcastic but it's like your blaming the problem on the car and it's a normal occurrence when it's 40 degrees outside and warmer inside. The reason (probably) why the front windshield didn't fog over might be because the HVAC control was on outside air and enough air got inside through the vents to keep it clear. Only a guess.
