Default Wilwood front discs on my 2010 PT...

Just got her back yesterday. Everything fit- just needed a 5mm spacer between the rim and the drum hat (to compensate for the 2 additional outer pistons on each caliper). The OEM wheel studs fit, but it was recommended that I look for slightly longer ones. Other'n that- clean bolt-on! Also- behind each caliper is Wilwood's stainless steel braided line kit. S-w-e-e-t...

Nice!

I made a push to sell these to the PT market many years ago but it fell far short. The market was all in the SRT4 crowd! lol

Glad to see someone finally found the value and performance that's available for your car.

Thank you very much, Todd. The messed up thing is- Wilwood didn't design their brakes for a 2010! They stopped at either '06 or '08! Yet this kit bolted right on. My Energy Suspension Master bushing kit was only designed for PTs up to '06. I called them after everything was on- to let them know that it fit, and they were very surprised. I simply got tired of other year PT's and other cars only having all the fun! PTs are VERY adaptable to modifications! I'm building my PT as an old-school (hence her name- "Old's Cool") hot rod. She's getting the best of everything. Along with the Wilwoods, some of the other performance upgrades I'm making are: bolting a 4-speed Hurst "Lightning Rods" shifter behind my 4-speed automatic and I've also designed a rigid standpipe for use with a K&N*62-1330 engine oil breather for my PT. I'm bypassing the port of my K&N 63-1550 C.A.I- making it a true C.A.I., as well as sparing the throttle body from exposure to recycled oil residue. Stay tuned for pics of those mods...

Having not spoken to anyone about brakes for the PT in years I'm not surprised that the factory did not know when and if it still fit. Like me, their market peaked with the SRT4 and with that car now gone they probably did not look beyond that and the final production of the PT. The standard SRT4 kit and all it's options: drilled and slotted rotors, GT rotors, DP6 calipers, track pads etc are all a direct fit to the PT.

Nope- those are 2010 OEM Chrysler 16" wheels. The sensors slipped right in. It's my understanding that alot of parts for PTs are ONLY backwards compatible- meaning 2010 stuff will fit on other earlier PTs, but the same isn't true for the earlier years' parts working on the 2010. Sounds daft to me...
