Thanks to the internet I ordered the parts whilst waiting for the tow truck. The following morning I picked the parts up and about two hours later job done So I am very pleased to say that it passed the MOT

Where did you get these? I bought some Ancor brand and since i changed them the car is shaking and grinding since the rubber seems to be to hard, transfering all engine noises to the chassis.

Just so you know that I understand your responses....

This is from a member here just sent this to me he found on a none PT Cruiser.
I went there and read lots of arguments between members. They are very passionate about ther cars.
The best car wash for your car's finish? Hand car wash vs automatic car wash

A few of us are wash fanatic's. This test would not apply to the way in which we wash or rides nor does it include the high quality products that we use to do a detailed washing.

Come on, Nitro. You don't have a well modded PT like CREWZIN or some of our other member. And neither do most members. Ours are not show cars. But that doesn't mean we cannot keep our cars looking great. And like you and I, many members do. You keep trying to argue points where most of us all agree.

The only point of contention is that you want to run down folks that use car washes. This is just one more case where you are trying to argue that your way is the only way. But of course, it's not. And that's a good thing too because many of us don't have so much time on our hands to burn like you do. Unlike you, I'm not trying to tell anyone my way is better. I'm just showing what I did the other day and the results I got. That's what this thread is supposed to be about.

Personally, I think it's admirable that you spend so much time doing spit and polish on your mostly unmodified daily driver PT. I'm sure your PT is still beautiful even at 6 inches away. Just don't insult those of us for being able to maintain the mirror-like shine (top and bottom) on our PT's by going to a local car wash.

Now that is what a car is SUPPOSED to look like in winter!

We are enjoying some near-record high temps this week after a nasty ice storm a couple days ago. It's 55F today. Feels like summer! The snow is melting like crazy!

I should take The RATMOBILE over to the Touch-Free car wash tonight. I'll bet the lines are long though.

Confused? So are we. If it's not made in the U.S., then why does it say so? Well, even though we spent a good three hours on the net searching to find what is the difference between #1 and #4 (or 4A-40) and 5# (or 5A-50), unfortunately we came up empty handed. If any of you happen to know the answer, please leave a comment below.

The answer is in the FSM:

lol. you guys' meticulous wash habits make me giggle. i think i usually only washed mine to keep my hands clean before a repair. if that didn't work i'd clean the dirty part at the QUARTER CARWASH
