Looked in the Haynes manual to see how to remove my rear bumper in preparation for the new roll pan. I hope to put it on sometime this week...

Replaced the vent visors as two of them were cracked, they were 7 years old. Thanks to Maggie at raceandstreet.com

I checked the tire pressure.... we've only had it a few weeks and slowly getting it up to par...

tires call for 50lbs max pressure.... only 38lbs all around....

so topped them up and will keep pushing the mpg forward...

Put on a nice new silver gas door. Two days ago I put a silver lower grill on.

decals_by_jt, you do realize that the 50lb max pressure is not the cold tire pressure, but the max pressure applied during mounting to seat the beads? Yes, there are some gains to be made in rolling resistance by upping the pressure, and 38psi is certainly a modest advance over the recommended 35psi, but go too much more than that, and you'll start to affect braking, handling, and tire wear. Our Cruisers are about as aerodynamic as a sheet of plywood broadside to the wind so every little bit helps on the gas mileage, but for the price of a prematurely worn out set of tires, you could have bought a lot of gas. I'm guessing you're already aware of all of this, but I say it for the benefit of others who might not be.

I changed the gas struts on the rear hatch and then I polished the grey out of the headlights.
