Default Best Place to Buy Mopar Transmission Filter?

Hey there,

I'm getting ready to service the transmission and would like to know the best priced place to buy the Mopar Transmission filter and Mopar ATF+4? I just serviced my Jeep over the weekend and ended up paying full retail for that at the dealership. I'm hoping to find a price break on our PT.

Thanks again!

Hi mash35231. Are Mopar Transmission filter and Mopar ATF+4 cheap? I think it is not. Prove it that they are cheap.

I finally found a Chrysler & Jeep dealer, here in the Twin Cities, who discounts their parts (Park Chrysler Jeep of Burnsville, MN). The Mopar transmission filter for the PT and five quarts of Mopar ATF+4 was $52.76 with tax. I already had a tube of Mopar Transmission RTV that I used on my Jeep. Not bad as it appears that the other dealerships charge full retail.

Regarding Wal-Mart and other places, they are good for some things, but not the Chrysler transmissions. We all know that they are very sensitive and prefer to end their lives if they don't get what they want. A $2,000 - $3,000 transmission is worth the extra few bucks. I had a transmission go out on a 2009 Grand Caravan, with only 29,000 miles on it. Granted, it was a rental car that we used on vacation, but it was more than likely serviced with the wrong product.

Welcome daniel9ds!
