Default Hit a deer!

So I finally hit my first ever deer! Kinda sucks with a brand new car, but at least it's pretty minor. Could have been a lot worse. I'm getting away with a new bumper, radiator, and lower radiator support.

Hey their heifetz17,

Glad to hear neither you,nor your Ride sound much worse for wear knock on wood. I know those 4 legged friends all too well for sure! Never in my PT of course as good ol Sunny So Cal doesn't have much in the way of furry woodland creatures except for the Zoo, but back once upon a time when I Team Drove a short time with my Old Man back when I was on still Truck Driving, he used to have this little two lane backwoods shortcut of a road that would shave like 40 miles off our route whenever we would come down through Pocatella Idaho on into Wyoming called I believe US30 which I of course always had to drive at like 2:00AM when I was bout half awake right smack in the middle of Deer Migration Country. Never did hit one, but boy I came close more times than I can count, and always had to keep an extra pair of shorts on the seat next to me every time just in case whenever I drove that dang old route for sure!

Anyways, like I say, good to hear all is alright, and your Ride should be back up and going probably by the time I finish typing this reply, I hope anyways.

Drive safe, and here's to hoping non of his/her Buddies ever finds your Bumpers ever again!

PS: Ya do know ya now have to go and make a small mark somewhere on your PT for points tracking, right?

I hit a small one in a Mazda 626 years ago, warped the bumper. My son hit one, or hit him as it did run into the drivers door, back in the spring in his Saturn. The insurance paid the $1800 and rented him a car for four days - for a car that's worth about $2000.

Glad your not hurt. I know how much damage they can cause. While living in Maryland, my whole family was involved separately with deer accidents. Me in my Z24, my wife in her Geo and my son in his Mustang.
