Default Towing eye?

Does anyone actually have one of these things? Where..exactly do they mount?

I have never seen a PT Cruiser with one but a lot of cars come stock with them.My 2008 Sonata had one in the rear.

the pt have two of them behind the rear bumper, but I think if you actually get towed by these hooks you will shred your rear bumper

OK,found em.Your right you would have some damage if these were used for recovery.Seems kind of strange to have them mounted that behind the bumper.

Are you sure they are for towing and not used in shipping to use with tie downs to hold the car in place. The one time I had my Cruiser towed, it was done on a flat bed.

they are used to tie the car to the transport at the factory on the car hauler not for towing

Yes, the rear ones are for transport, the front one screws into the lower grill somewhere. I saw them on All Data,but, I don't see a spot on the front to screw into It's supposed to be used for towing It looks just like an eye, it's threaded and on All Data they caution about being sure it's screwed in all the way.
I'm just curious if anyone has/saw one.
