Default Transmission leak above oil pan

I will try to post a photo, but i seem to be losing fluid from above the transmission pan towards the front of the car .

when i look at it from under the car, there is a some kind of housing parallel to the radiator right above the pan. i can actually see fluid seeping out from the sandwichwed parts of the housing.

any idea what this part is called?

Default PHOTO of Transmission leak above trasmission fluid pan

Anyone know if this is a "difficult job"? I guess i'll have to remove the radiator. Can the gaskets be redone? What is this part called?

THANKS!

Check Red's post. Sounds like your solenoid pack's gasket. Mine leaks, too, but only in the summer. I nap a lot in the summer, so I just haven't gotten around to fixing it, yet.

You don't have to remove the radiator; but you do have to remove the battery and battery tray. Supposedly you can now purchase just the solenoid pack gasket--and not the whole solenoid and gasket. If so, you'll save a lot of money. However, in the manual they tell you to "Perform Quick-Learn Procedure" when you're done with changing the gasket--or solenoid pack/gasket. So you if you do the job, let me know if you really had to take the car to the dealer for the Quick Learn.

When I change my transmission fluid the first time I thought I need to do the Relearn process and I found on internet the procedure with out going to the dealer. Check this Link.
