Default New here 04 EB Pt

Hi guys.. New to this site.. I joined a couple months back and was just searching around trying to get some ideas for my 04 Electric Blue Cruiser.. It's a 2.4 non-turbo, Touring edition.... Here is the story behind the purchase of this car..

I got a phone call from my uncle asking me if I wanted a Pt Cruiser for $500.... Yes, $500.... I said yes, ofcourse.... So we went over and looked at it.. It was in very good shape.. Needed a LITTLE tlc but not much.. Turns out a woman was selling it because it was her husbands and he died, so she just wanted to get rid of it.. It had 124k miles on it and need a good interior wash.. Also needed Front brake rotors, pads, outter tie rods.. The front bumper had a little 2x3'' square hole in it, and the left fender was dented out a little.. Hardly noticeable, but the guy got into a 5mph fender bender with it.. Driverside headlight had a little crack in it..

Things we replaced: Front bumper, Front fender, Both headlights, Spark plugs, Wires, Coil, Tie rods, Front brakes, and a full interior wash.... I then bought 4 GT chrome rims for $170 and turned out 3/4 were no good so back to the stock rims..

Here are some pics!

Notice how the fender and bumper is a little darker blue

Things the car needs now are new control arms installed, bushings are bad on the current ones, then wheel allignment.. Also could use a transmission service and has a squealing, not sure if its the belt or tensioner... Then its good to go!!

Thanks for reading

Drew

Thanks guys! Actually I know the waterpump was replaced but not positive if the timing belt was.. I'm sure it was, it's right there.. The previous owner worked for an autopart company and he took good cazre of the car.. Looks like the suspension is even pretty new..

Just ordered new rims.. 17x8..
