Default Brake Light Replacement ?

Hello, I am trying to find out how to remove the lens cover on my right side 03 dream cruiser. I understand there is a screw that needs to be removed at the bottom of the lens cover but I can't see it. Do I have to remove a panel before I can access this screw? If so what panel? Sorry if this has been asked before I did try to find the answer with no luck. Thanks for your help!

TIP - Take a sharpie and write on the back of the bulb socket where it came out - top or bottom, so you can replace it without being upside down like in the video.
TIP - Put a towel on the ground so you can kneel on it and get to screw level to ease in removal/replacement of the screw.

so it seems like this might have been the first time he's done that or he was just in a rush, but it's not that hard. and if it was so hot, why is he wearing a sweater, lol jk. this was a really good tutorial but youtube does have a lot of good stuff on there.

I couldnt find the screw cause my tail light has a cover on them which looks great. However, the previous owner appeared to super glue it on and I can't get it off without breaking it. So I can't get to the screw to remove the tail light. Any ideas as to what to do now? I did look on you tube but didn't find anything.

Well, at first I was going to suggest that you would need to determine where the screw is located and carefully drill through your tail light cover, then...
...I realized that you may be able to reach the bulb plugs from the rear wheel well.
I am not certain but I think you can remove the splash shield from the inner wheel well and have access to the bulb sockets.

that's actually a good idea. you might be able to access it through the wheel well, but from what i can remember i think it's blocked off by sheet metal. So i was gonna suggest to drill a hole to locate the screw. but very carefully.

It will be easier for me to just drill a hole. I hope I don't mess it up though.

just be sure and be precise on where the screw's at so that it doesn't look funky. so are you thinking about doing the other side too?
