Default PT CRUISER vs 55-57 CHEVY!

Who thinks that the PT Cruiser-now discontinued will become the future 55-57 chevy in years to come? Opinions.(.Particularly the special production ones) MJB

I'm thinking it will something special in ten years, but they made over a million of them so it will take a while.

Funny had a similar conversation. The models with less units may be more sought after later on, like the Dream Cruisers for an example, especially if in prime condition, few miles and never winter driven.
Only time will tell, but curious what 20 years will do for the pt...

They made millions of 55-57 Chevy's and look now,,big bucks for the nice ones...other examples 66-72 Chevelles..I was just at Barrett Jacson,,maybe someday the PT may become the prize to those that remember? MJB

I love all things PT, but I think it will be a LONG time before PT's fall into the tri-five Chevy category... 20 Years old is a classic, but 20 years ago was 1991. Any models from 1991 that get anybody excited? Not really...

I'm thinking more like 40 years before there is much excitement...

I think the PT,or at least the special models will be collectible in 40 or 50 years but I dont think they will ever reach the level of the tri-five Chevy's.
