Default My poor baby, i'm so sorry.

So tonight i decided to tackle the job of changing the wires and plugs. Really sucks i couldn't find my bungee cords but i got it done anyways. I put champion double platinum plugs gaped at .40 and B&B wires. When i took the first plug out i was ashamed that i let her ride like this for over a year. when i took the other plugs out i felt so bad. I have a habit of checking the plugs after i pull them. Three of them were around .50 more or less but one was like at .80. i thought she ran ok before i did this but now she's a freaking beast. I took her for a spin to make sure everything was good and she wasn't giving me any codes. everything checked out ok. usually my mpg's would start to drop like crazy, but not this time. she actually increased. I took her on the highway and i even taught a lesson to some dude in a Ram. what a sucker. so she's doing fine. I'll show you two pix of the old plugs, and then you tell me if you would be ashamed for letting your baby ride that long with nasty plugs. I love you Eve

and this was the one gaped at .80. you som'b*tch, I'M GLAD I PULLED YOU!!!

Look pretty dark, so did mine, and they were super gapped, too.
Just knocked them back to .05

It's a good little engine in the PT somewhat thirsty but reliable and true. I'm glad Eve is purring now.

Gap increase with time, so I gapped mine at 0.038 when I did them & wires, and haven't missed a beat for tens of thousands of miles...
