Default Dealer repair sucks

I took my car in for an oil change today. While I was there I asked them to look at my rear spoiler because the double sided tape had let go on it and there was a big gap between the spoiler and liftgate. Now I have heard of other people with the same problem and the dealer removed their spoiler, cleaned the old tape off and put new tape on.That makes sense.Well,my dealer just shoved more double sided tape under the spoiler and trimmed it so it didnt stick out too much. Now I still have the gap but it's filled with double sided tape and looks aweful. To make matters even worst they tried to charge me for it.My car is only 4 months old with 6,000 miles.I wouldnt pay for that if they did it right because it's under warranty.I definately wouldnt pay for that sloppy job.I guess I will have to take care of it myself.

Wow, I'd force them to fix it and fix it right. That's BS...

I agree with Chromnut 100%. Take it back and complain as loud as you can. Ask for the manager or owner of the dealership and show him the lousy job and demand that they fix it right. It's band new car, they should fix it right and also ask them what kind of dealership they are running to try and charge for something that's clearly under warranty.
