Default I can really use buying advice, 2004 Turbo

Hello Members,

The very beautiful Cruiser in my album

http://www.ptcruiserlinks.com/forum/...albums228.html

is a 2004 GT 5 Speed Turbo, Leather Interior, that I am seriously considering to buy, sellers are second owners, and it has almost 100,000 miles on it. And no, the timing belt has not been changed,

I don't know but every car owner i've asked here, has not changed their timing belt ever, is it the climate, that its colder here (Calgary, Alberta) or what, but no one I speak to has ever changed their timing belts! As for the owners of the Cruiser, they've had it for 4 years, they seem nice enough and claim to have maintained the car very well! Can you PT owners give me some feedback, let me know how long you think it could last without major problems, and what price do u think its worth, thanks kindly, I am in a real PTcraze

Welcome to the Forum. You are doing the right thing asking questions before buying a PT. They are a great car, but most owners on here change their timing belts etc around 100,000 miles so there isn't any problems down the road. The best thing I can tell you is have a trusted mechanic check the car out good, no matter what the previous owners tell you. Why are they getting rid of the car? The Turbo has to use premium gas and that price is going up as well. Good luck on your decision.
