Thumbs down Horn Problem 2007 Cruiser

Can't seem to find a definitive answer anywhere or I may be overlooking it. My 2007 Cruiser has gone crazy, while driving down the road the horn will blown randomly and sometimes when I do toot the horn it will not stop. Could someone tell me if there is a fuse or relay that may be going bad? If so where is it at and which one is it? I found the fuses located behind the air intake but couldn't figure out which one was for the horn. I guess my other option would be to unhook the horn but I was looking for something that maybe I could replace so that it would work later on.

Thumbs up Re: Horn Problem 2007 Cruiser

this has been discussed on here in the past,go to the search option at the top of the page, i found it in a thread that dates back to 2006 and the problem is with the ground wire at the horn button.the person that had the problem took it to the dealship and they fixed it.sounds like a common problem with the cruisers 2006-2010.

I had to replace the horn ring on my '06 because I basically had to abuse the steering wheel to get any sound out of it. Nothing to do with relays or fuses. If you horn went off, as in stopped working, then I'd look to wiring or fuses.

The horn ring is buried in your steering wheel, it surrounds the inner mechanics of your airbag. If your car is still under warranty, get it to the stealership. If not, there is an entire section at PTCrew.com on replacing the horn ring. If you can't find it there, PM me, I have tons of info on this plus all the diagrams, etc.

I had the same problem on our '06 when we bought it new, kept taking it back to the dealer, they replaced the whole wheel which helped some, but still not perfect. Took it back to the dealer and they fixed it, I think by going into the wheel itself and replacing some parts. I don't know which ones, but it worked.

No longer a problem. Removed the horn and replace the steering wheel with an old chain steering while, one like Cheech and Chong had on their van in "Nice Dreams"

Where are you at? Just curious how you'd pass inspection without the air bag.

The horn is right below the passenger side headlight, check that you didn't unplug it or break the wires.
