Default Sold my Cruiser

I bought my '02 PT for $1000 in late January of this year.
I knew it had a knock and needed a rebuild and with only 85000 miles on it, I figured it was worth it.

I bought a crank kit from O'reilly's for $170 and went ahead and replaced the timing belt, water pump, serpentine belt, PCV valve, plugs, wires, new battery, new connecting rod for the one that lost the bearing, and new fuel pump.
All in all, I spent about $800 in parts.

2 1/2 months later, she's up and running.
But then I got hurting for money, and had to post her on Craigslist.
She went for $4200.

So $1800 invested, sold for $4200, makes $2400 profit off of one car.
I think it's safe to say I am a fan of the PT Cruiser.

I'm gonna miss her...

On an even sadder note, when I was resetting the radio presets in the car, I noticed the cd icon was lit.
When I hit the eject button a Waylon Jennings cd came out.
SWEET!!! Free cd!
I forgot to take it out when I sold the car...

I'm a death metal man myself, but who can resist a free Waylon Jennings cd?

All together now!

No plans as of now. I wasn't really looking for this one, it just kind of fell in my lap.
However, since I've had the honor of working with this one, I wouldn't be against owning another one.

....and from one headbanger to another...
