Unhappy Window switch help?

I have a small problem. I'm my PT the window switch seems like it is giving power to roll the driver and passenger window up but it will not roll them down. I'm confused! Has anyone experienced this? And if so what was the solution? Thanks for the help!

***edit***
I just reread your post... It sounds to me like a bad switch.

You're saying the window will go up but not down, or down but not up... correct?

You might also just have a loose connection on the back of the switches

I'm sure someone with more knowledge about how to pull things apart will be along shortly.

trouble shooting can be a frustrating and time consuming process, so have a little paitence and take the time to check everything completely.

good luck and keep us updated

Exco

I'd like to help but you didn't log in and fill in your profile..or even say hello so don't know what year your car is. There's a lot of changes throughout the years of production. Nice if you would introduce yourself instead of just logging on and asking a question.

Hey there, welcome to the site. I'm Danny, my PT is Eve and we say Hello from San Antonio.
Crewzin's right tho, it would be nice to have an intro and some info on your baby.
But i agree with Exco, your Switch may be going bad. Same thing was happening to me so i bought a new master window switch and everything's back to normal.
