Default Bad Day

So my dad and I were at OSH and I allowed him to drive my PT. He pulled the front end over the concrete parking stop/curb. I told him he shouldn't have done that because of how low it is. He said it would be okay. So when we left, he was backing up and ripped the mounting point on the bumper fascia on the driver side fender. It has only been two months since I replaced the bumper for the same exact damage. He felt so bad about doing it and gave me the idea to plastic weld the clean break. So I plan to plastic weld the damage since it was a clean break, but I don't know what type of plastic the front fascia is made of. I have the welding rods for PVC, Polypropylene, and ABS. If anyone can tell me the type of plastic, it would be very helpful.

Its an OEM Replacement

That sucks, I can see how easily it could happen, I'm always careful but still scrape the bottom once in a while. Good luck with the repair.

I think the plastic is ABS but I want to make sure before I repair it. Do any of you know what type of plastic?

Usually there is a stamp .... but it's probably not where you can see it. There are a bunch of shops that repair plastic bumbers, try to find one online and ask. I would think it would be Poly something, ABS and PVC are not really that flexible.
