Default Power Windows/Blower/Rear Defrost/Reverse Lights Not Working

...and air bag light on. Anyone know what would cause this? I need to get this fixed asap. My summer car has been pulled out of hibernation a little too early because of this. I've searched and haven't come up with much aside from a wire to the fuse box being burnt.

HI. Did you ever get this problem resolved? I am having the exact same issue. Thanks!

Yes. There is a pink/black wire that goes to a harness behind the kick panel on the lower left of the steering wheel, pin 26. The connector in the harness is apparently to weak for the current that goes through it and causes the connector and wire to burn enough to break the connection.

What I did was cut the wire on both sides of the harness and use a "butt" connector to splice them back together and haven't had a problem since. This was back in Apirl so I think its safe to say its good to go at this point

Thanks for the quick reply!
I found the gray connector with the pink/black wire just under and behind the fuse box. I tried to pull it out straight down with no luck. Is there a secret to getting it disconnected, or did I just not pull hard enough? Thanks again.

If I recall correctly I clipped the wires from both sides of the harness with it left where it was, and it wasn't an easy task...

BAZINGA! Successfully repaired!
My main problem was getting enough light in the right place so I could see what I was doing. Then I found the clip on the connector that holds it on the metal tab and it slipped right off. I didn't even have to pull it apart - just untaped the bundles, clipped the offending wires free of the connector, stripped and reconnected them with a butt connector.
Thanks to everyone who contributed to this thread! I appreciate the help.

Same problem. 2005 Cruiser. I don't see a pink/black wire. Maybe I just need better detail. Help?

...as was quoted, "under and behind the fuse box" or as the other poster said, "behind the kick panel on the left side on the lower left of the steering wheel"....which is where the fuse box is on the earlier models.
