What is the code? Usually the switch is at some point where it can be contacted by the brake pedal armature. I have seen them break on other cars, they get kicked sometimes, had my clutch one go on a car .... couldn't start it cause the switch was broken .... all in same area.

SilverSport is correct. The brake switch is right above the brake pedal.
