Default Please identify this part, thanks

I found this between the radiator and the grill. I am assuming whatever clamped it on to the body broke because there was a jagged portion (which my finger is covering, sorry). Whatever it is, the wire was only about a foot long from where it joined the harness.

Anyone know what this is?

It's the temperature sensor for the overhead console. Belongs right in the middle of the horizontal support bar. I guess you could put it anywhere with tape. Don't cover the sensor and I don't know if it HAS t be pointed up.
