Default New Cruiser here!

Hello all!

I am iCruz, and I am a new '05 PT Touring Covertible owner. I am still trying to get used to it. I just got it when I traded in my '02 Dodge Dakota 4.7 4x4 SLT with only 79k. I hated to trade in my baby. I had it for 6 years and just paid it off last September. I loved that damn truck, but when I almost fell getting into it; I had to do something. One thing I figured too is that I better trade the truck in while its still worth something.
I had to get rid of it because I have Muscular Dystrophy and its been getting worse since I had the truck. I have had getting rid of the truck in the back of my mind for the past several years because I knew it was coming. I almost trade it in on a PT GT a few years ago, but at the last minute I decided not to sign those papers. It was really hard. I know this sounds pathetic, but I had an emotional brake-down when I got home. Yes I like the PT, but I just loved the manliness of the truck.

The PT has 64K miles and is silver with charcoal interior. Its a Touring Turbo, and its a quick little car. Im just not used to sitting so low to the ground...lol!

What's up dude. Congrat's on your new baby. Sorry to hear about you old baby. I know how you feel. I had a Jeep GC Laredo that i got from my Dad. I loved Camey to death but in the end she was just to much for me to handle, repair wise.
But, i'm Danny, my PT is Eve and we say hello from San Antonio.

Hi, welcome from RI. Although I am sure you are lower to the ground, the PT has a little SUV, sitting upright feel, but you don't have to climb up. I think it sounds like a good choice. I have a back injury and love it. Thanks for showing the picture. And as far as sounding pathetic, your in good company. Have you met Wolfman above? He knows I'm kidding. Wolfman and the rest of the bunch are really great support in many ways. Stay in touch and enjoy your new ride.
